The verdict

Le Faucigny is a small boutique hotel in an old house, renovated in a Scandinavian spirit. It is in the heart of Chamonix, on place de l'Église, a few steps from the Compagnie des guides.

Its Google rating of 4.5 from nearly 600 reviews rewards a human-sized house, taken over in 2011 by Martin Devictor.

On site

A spa, shared spaces designed for getting together and simple, warm rooms. The same group runs the Le Génépy aparthotel, handy for a family.

Our advice

It is the most affordable charming address in the centre in our checks: €103 for the night of 10 April 2027. Rooms vary in size, so look at the surface area before booking.

The church on place de l'Église rings the hours: ask for a room at the back if the bells wake you.
