Why go?
The Skyway Monte Bianco climbs from Courmayeur to Pointe Helbronner, the highest point in Italy open to the public according to its operator. Its cabins rotate on the way up, and its Google rating of 4.8 from more than 8,600 reviews is the best of our listings.
Good to know
A return costs €59 and a one-way €46. The cable car closes from 16 November to 4 December 2026 for maintenance.
At the end of October 2026, it ran from 8:30am to 3:30pm on weekdays and until 4:30pm at weekends.
Our advice
From Chamonix, the Mont Blanc Tunnel takes you to Courmayeur in half an hour, not counting queues. In summer, the Panoramic Mont-Blanc gondola links Pointe Helbronner to the Aiguille du Midi above the Vallée Blanche, when it is running.
