Why go?

The Musée du Mont-Blanc has taken over from the former Alpine museum, on avenue Michel-Croz. Its exhibition tells the story of people and the mountain, from the first climbers to today's challenges.

It is the best visit for a day of bad weather, in the heart of the centre.

Good to know

Full price is €12. The museum closes from 2 November to 15 December 2026.

The valley's museum pass costs €25 and also includes the Crystal Museum.
