The verdict

La Moraine is a Savoyard restaurant that also works for an end-of-day drink on its heated terrace. In winter, the place advertises regular live music.

Its Google rating of 4.3 from more than 1,200 reviews praises the warm atmosphere.

On site

Chef Mathilde Walisko serves fondue, tartiflette and farcement savoyard, with meat and fish cooked with seasonal vegetables. She highlights produce that is overwhelmingly French and regional.

In summer, La Moraine has two terraces.

Our advice

Service runs noon to 2pm and 7pm to 10pm, Wednesday to Sunday: this is an early-evening place, not a late-night one. "Regular music" does not mean every night, so ask for the programme.
